Self discipline is the best means for the development of an individual. However, for the effective running of any institution, rules and regulations become necessary to enforce discipline when required. Every student of Vimala is expected to observe all the rules and regulations of the college. The decision of the Principal will be final in all matters

The day begins with morning assembly. The entire college participates in the morning assembly with due respect and devotion

A call to auditorium for morning prayer or a common purpose or any other programme must be promptly and strictly answered. No one is to remain in classrooms or else where during such occasions..

Students are to remain in their classrooms during the entire class period

If the teacher is absent, the representative should inform both concerned department and the principal for immediate alternative arrangement.

Students are not expected to leave the campus during working the hours. In case of an emergency, sanction must be obtained from the Principal by forwarding a written request duly countersigned by the Parent/Guardian/Warden and the class teacher.

Cleanliness in classrooms, verandahs, and premises is essential. Avoid leaning against walls and door-ways, writing on desks, benches and walls and fixing nails, pasting notice on the walls etc.

No notice should be put up without the permission of the Principal even during the election time.

Information regarding various relevant topics will be put up on the notice boards. Students should consult the notice boards every day.

Complaints of students will be looked into if they are presented through the proper channel. Collective petitions, however, will not be allowed. Make use of the Redressal Cell.

Letters officially addressed to the Principal should enclose self addressed, stamped envelope, if reply is needed.

Two-wheelers should be parked only in the parking area.

There are places and times of silence. Strict silence must be observed in chapel and library and after the bell for classes. Chapel and it's premises are used only for prayer. Discipline and decorum is expected of the students during programmes convened in the auditorium or else where.

Students are requested to see that an attitude of respect and love is reflected in their behavior towards elders, teachers, peers and others.
