Dr. Sr. Lisy John Irimpan , the principal of Vimala College took charge of the college  on 1st April 2008  after the retirement of Dr. Sr. Limsey P.R. (Dr. Sr. Lekha). She had worked in Commerce Department and had also acquired M.Com, M.Phil and  Ph.D in her respective field.
